Self reflections during my hike in the Scottish Highlands.
Sarah Thomas Storyteller
Here’s my excavation process for seeking out the gold in half-finished and forgotten stories.
My Highlands experience.
How I learn from my mistakes.
I examine three of my favourite Shakespeare characters and what we can learn from them in writing and life.
I look at my favourite stories and give a few inspiring lessons that I’m using in my short story adventure right now.
Thanks for popping onto my blog pages. I am biased, of course, but blogging is a fabulous way to extend the reach of your voice in whatever business you are in. I started writing on Medium at the beginning of 2020 as a way to discover more about blogging, about what appealed to me as a writer and to push myself to build a suite of content that was relevant to what I believed.
While there is no shortage of blogs in the Digi-sphere, it remains a reliable way to communicate with your audience.
I’ve occasionally been sucked into the numbers game during that time, but I’ve remained an active student and continue to love the blogging game. Because these are my personal blogs, I’m not buying into the niche advice for bloggers, but then again, I’m not a blogger; I’m a writer of various forms.
I write about business, marketing, freelance life, creativity, philosophy, society, feminism, writers and storytelling. I love the discovery and research phase.
But you’re probably here to find out about writing for your business, so here are a few reasons that I think blogging can help you out with growing your business.
- Authority as you share your expertise with your potential customers
- Marketing opportunities as your audience grows
- Developing your voice as a business as you explore themes that are important to your customers and affiliates.
- A decent suite of content, as we know, Google likes relevant content.
If you’re not excited by the prospect of writing but have plenty to say, why not get in touch to see if I can help you out. My content marketing page includes links to blogs and article case studies that I’ve worked in the past.
In the meantime, above are a selection of blogs for you to have a peek at.
